Filmmaker Magazine Unveils 25 New Faces of Independent Film

Filmmaker Magazine released their 14th edition of their “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” yesterday. “These filmmakers are using internet distribution, social and audience-engagement tools to leverage themselves in ways our first group in 1998 could never have dreamed of,” commented to the publication.

This year’s list includes Eddie Alcazar, who attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and worked for Redwood City-based Electronic Arts, for his work on the film 0000 (pronounced Zero).  Alcazar wrote, directed and produced the science fiction film, which is currently in post-production., which he hopes to have it completed by the Sundance submission deadline.
